Ingredients for How to Make Ghee At Home 

  • Butter 
  • Betel leaf ( optional )


Process of cooking 

  • Boil the milk on a low flame. 
  • collect the cream in a container and store it in the freezer 
  • Collect the cream daily in the same container after boiling milk and store in the freezer 
  • Repeat this process for 5 to 6 days 
  • Then, please keep it for curdling by adding curd or lemon juice or any edible acidic substance in a bigger vessel. It has to be kept overnight or for 7 to 8 hrs. 
  • Thus curd is prepared in good quality and quantity. 
  • Churners churn this curd, and we get Butter.
  • Separate the Butter from the buttermilk. 
  • Rinse the Butter well, keep it in a Kadai or wok on a very low flame and cook till golden brown the aroma is sufficient to know that our Ghee is ready.
